Head over to Ristretto Roasters Couch cafe on Thursday August 14 at 7:30pm, to hear some of the best writers in the country read their work. Poet Elyse Fenton, whose book, Clamor, won the received the University of Wales Dylan Thomas Prize. Justin Hocking, author of The Great Floodgates of the Wonderworld, a book about surfing, obsession & Moby Dick that was listed as one of Ten Brilliant Books That Will Grab You from Page One in Kirkus Reviews and The Huffington Post. And David Shafer reading from his new novel, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, which a New York Times headline said, “May Be the Novel of the Summer.” There’s not a better night of readings happening anywhere.

This event is free and open to anyone, as are all reading events at all Ristretto cafes.
