Thank you for considering Ristretto Roasters for your wholesale coffee needs. We are a locally owned company specializing in artisan coffees ideal for cafes, restaurants and retailers serving the high-end coffee market. Ristretto coffees are hand-roasted in our Portland roastery in small batches and delivered the same day, with low minimum orders to meet the needs of our clients.

Our Coffees

We travel extensively to source coffees directly from farmers who care as much about the quality of their craft as we care about ours. We strive to do Direct Trade as much as possible. This offers us the unparalleled opportunity to form lasting relationships with growers, as well as to observe the practices and procedures of those with whom we do business, and to learn how we can contribute to sustainability and the common good. Many of the farmers we work with are small family businesses, as are we, and to whom we always pay fair and above-market prices.

We maintain a consistent selection of blends, including Beaumont Blend espresso and Cowboy Blend, so your customers can enjoy the flavor profiles they look forward to. We also source single origin beans, frequently changing our inventory in order to feature the best coffees available in a given season, and to offer customers a full spectrum of coffees and choices.

Equipment and Service

We strive to provide you with the optimum in quality equipment. Manufacturers we work closely with include La Marzocco espresso machines, Mazzer grinders, Fetco brewers, and Bunn. Have existing equipment you’d like to use? We’ll work with you to get the very best from your set-up. Our service department will keep your equipment running smoothly, offering repairs, parts and maintenance.

Training

Ristretto Roasters provides staff training for our wholesale clients, on site at your location, as well as in our roastery and coffee lab. Training is tailored to each client, and includes all types of espresso and coffee preparation, as well as education on the origins, handling and preparation of different coffees. Additionally, we provide spot training every six months with your staff, to keep everyone apprised of what’s up in the coffee world — yours, ours, the world at large — and to make sure everyone feels confident about preparing consistently great coffee drinks.

Training

Cuppings

We hold cuppings at the each of our cafes weekly; check individual cafe locations for days and times. Cuppings are free and available to our customers and anyone interested in tasting and talking coffee. Our quality control department holds cuppings Monday through Friday at 10am at our roastery, available for our wholesale customers and potential customers. If you are interested in working with our coffee, we would love to have you over for a cupping.
